Asgardians Comic in Demand After Avengers: Endgame (Spoilers)

We mentioned how one event from the movie Avengers: Endgame had sent the value of one Thor back issue rocketing. And previously how Hulk #377 had been booming on the back of the portrayal of the Hulk in the movie – it also went up ten or twenty bucks in recent days. We also looked at booming Captain America sales on the back of certain scenes in the movie as well. And here's another. Spoilers on, of course.

Towards the end of the movie as Thor finds both a new focus and freedom, he rejoins the Guardians Of The Galaxy – once they can decide who is in charge. And in the process, renames them the Asgardians Of The Galaxy.

It's a good joke. It was a good joke when writer Cullen Bunn made it and then repeatedly pitched Marvel Comics to publish it as a series. Which, last year, they gave in and did.

Good timing. I understand that Marvel informed Cullen Bunn that this was coming in advance, and even though it's just one gag, it looks like enough people have been searching for it online just in case. And so a comic that was selling a copy of its first issue on eBay every few weeks, just had a rush in the last few days, with folks preparing to pay up to twice the cover price for the standard cover.

But cover price-and-below listings are still available if you are so minded. And if you think that possibly, just possible, Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3 may be called Asgardians Of The Galaxy, this may be your moment…

It's also a fun comic by Cullen Bunn and Matteo Lolli. In case that interests you as well…
