It's hard to imagine anything more horrifying than taking the subway in Boston, but writer Paul Maybury, artist Sam Lofti, and colorist John Rauch are trying anyway with the upcoming Dark Horse Comics series launching in May, Last Stop on the Red Line. The story follows Detective Migdalia Torres investigating a strangling on the train which could turn out to have a supernatural connection.

"Subterranean shivery beneath the cold streets of Boston awaits," said Maybury upon the book's announcement. "As a native son, I've yearned to tell a story of the other side of the city, seldom portrayed. Real people contending with dissonant visions that convey a reality worse than their darkest nightmares."

Okay, we thought of something scarier than the subway: Bleeding Cool participating in access journalism.

Last Stop on the Red Line #1 (of 4) hits stores on May 15th, and final order cutoff is Monday, April 22nd, so pre-order your copy after perusing this EX-X-XCLUSIVE preview today.
