The Red Dead Online Beta Adds New Care Package and Showdown Bonuses

The newest update to the Red Dead Online Beta adds a new care package of several tonics, new cosmetic items, bonuses to showdown mode, races, and gun rush modes, and even some sales.

The new Red Dead care package includes a selection of Potent Tonics and is available at your Camp's Lockbox or at any Post Office in-game. The tonics included in this week's package are:

• 3x Potent Miracle Tonic
• 3x Potent Snake Oil
• 3x Potent Health Cure
• 3x Potent Bitters

As for your more fashionable side, well, some old favorite cosmetic items have returned to the Wheeler, Rawson & Co Catalogue like the Gator Hat and Ortega Vest. The returning full list of returning cosmetics includes:

• Gator Hat
• Ortega Vest
• Hitched Skirt (Female only)
• Morning Tail Coat
• Strickland Boots
• Furred Gloves
• Concho Pants

This week also sees several buffs to rewards from Showdown, Race, and Gun Rush modes, all will drop 1.5x the RDO$ and Gold this week. The bonus includes newly added modes like Plunder, Target Races, Up In Smoke, and Spoils of War. Those four modes are also featured as part of the Showdown and Race series playlists.

You can also get 1.5x Gold from A Land of Opportunities missions as well as all Free Roam missions and events.

Finally, rounding out this week in Red Dead Online, all ammunition is available at a 25% discount and all ammo rank requirements have been temporarily lifted.
