Brooklyn's Gotham City Lounge Has Closed

Brooklyn comic book-themed bar, Gotham City Lounge, has closed for good, the owner blaming a changing demographic and gentrification.

The location has been in owner Ray Torrelles' family for generations and once used to be a community church, and after closing he is intending to turn Gotham City Lounge in Bushwick into a man cave…

He told NY1 News that originally "my wife wanted to do a bar, I wanted to do a comic book shop so we kind of combined forces."
