Marvel Makes a Major Change to Howard the Duck in War of the Realms: War Scrolls #1 (Preview)

Howard the Duck was created by Steve Gerber and Val Mayerik, first appearing in 1973’s Adventure into Fear #19. It’s a simple concept: first name, Howard. Last name, the Duck. But Marvel doesn’t like to leave things simple, so they’ll be making a major change to Howard’s continuity on Wednesday as part of the War of the Realms super-mega-crossover event, as a story in War of the Realms: War Scrolls #1 by Chip Zdarsky and Joe Quinones changes Howard the Duck’s name to… Howard Duckson?!

Behold, a preview from the issue below:

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
