The Deaths of Thor, Captain Marvel, and Captain America – Old Man Quill #4 Preview (Spoilers)

Old Man Quill may be an ultimately meaningless maxi-series set in an alternate future Wastelands, but that just means there's more leeway to produce shocking character deaths without needing to worry about the repercussions. That's how, in this preview alone of Old Man Quill #4, we get to see the deaths of three of Marvel's most important superheroes! Of course, the impact may be lessened by the fact that these are not the original heroes, but far-removed legacy versions… okay, they're actually humans put in the costumes of these legendary heroes inside a gladiatorial arena… but still, it's not every day you get to see stuff like the death of Thor via dragon acid breath…

… or Captain Marvel gunned down by fighter ships…

…or Captain America pierced by a spear through his shield and his chest… guess they don't make'em like they used to.

Legacy Spider-Woman, on the other hand? She's doing pretty alright!
