DC Shocker: Fraction and Lieber to Kill Off Jimmy Olsen in New Series

Earlier today, we got our first look at Jimmy Olsen #1 by Matt Fraction and Steve Lieber, along with a few details about the series. We learned that the book would have a humorous tone, that Jimmy Olsen's video journalism is the only thing keeping the Daily Planet afloat in these perilous times for newspaper journalism, and that Jimmy would be traveling around the DC Universe for the series.

But DC was saving the biggest reveal for the solicits, because it looks like Jimmy Olsen… is going to die?!

That's what it says, anyway, right there in black and white.
