A Happy Batman in Tomorrow's Justice League #21

Pretty much Batman's entire shtick is being an uptight guy who dresses up in a bat costume to beat the crap out of mentally ill criminals at night in Gotham City. Over in Tom King's Batman, even Catwoman realized this, leaving Batman at the altar because she knew that he couldn't get his Batman on if he was happily married. That's why this preview of Justice League #21 is so strange: because Batman is… happy!

Batman at Peace in Tomorrow's Justice League #21

Hopefully, Batman snaps out of his happy funk before it's too late for Superman… though we have to admit, we'd be happy too to learn Dick Grayson finally stopped going by that stupid "Ric" name.

This preview was born as a gift from DC to their media partners at CBR, if the watermarks didn't tip you off. Justice League #21 hits stores tomorrow.
