The Midnight Release of Detective Comics #1000 at Forbidden Planet London (Video)

Tonight I popped along to the midnight opening of Forbidden Planet's London Megastore on Shaftesbury Avenue, for the launch of Detective Comics #1000. And everything else normally out tomorrow.

Forbidden Planet has its own retailer variant cover by Brian Bolland reflecting the original ad he drew for the store when it opened 40 years ago, the 'People Like Us Shop At' commercial.

With one in full colourand another as a black-and-white version… And, if you are made of money you can also order the set, signed by Brian. However, the virgin cover is instore only and won't be sold online…

ANd at 11.40pm there was already a line… it grew.
