Marvel's Runaways Renewed for a Third Season on Hulu
After several months of hanging out in limbo, it seems that one Marvel show isn't getting canceled. The official twitter account for Runaways posted today that the show has been renewed for a third season.
Last month we heard that the odds were pretty good that we were getting a third season of Runaways but everyone has been a little nervous since the mass purging over at Netflix. Runaways season two ended with one hell of a cliffhanger too so it's a good thing that the show got renewed. There is currently no release date but there is a chance it could stick to the pattern and get released as early as December this year.
Summary: After discovering their parents are super-villains in disguise, a group of teenagers band together to run away from their homes in order to atone for their parents' actions and to discover the secrets of their origins.
Marvel's Runaways, created by Stephanie Savage and Josh Schwartz, stars Gregg Sulkin, Ariela Barer, Lyrica Okano, Allegra Acosta, Virginia Gardner, and Rhenzy Feliz. The first and second season now streaming to Hulu.
