The Return of Spider-Man’s Greatest Villain in Next Week’s Marvel Comics Presents #3

Spider-Man has one of the most well-developed rogue’s galleries in the entire superhero-industrial complex, but even with a collection that includes  such notable villains as Kraven the Hunter, Mysterio, The Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, and Paste Pot Pete, things can still get a little stale in the Spider-Man books. It doesn’t help that Marvel publishes 25 of the god damn things per month. But in next week’s Marvel Comics Presents #3, Marvel manages to find a Spider-Man nemesis who we haven’t seen in a while. In fact, he’s Spider-Man’s first-ever opponents…

That’s right, it’s professional wrestling legend Crusher Hogan, facing off against Spider-Man in an HCW match right in Madison Square Garden!

Does WWE know MSG booked their arena to HCW? They didn’t take it so well when ROH did it, after all.

Marvel Comics Presents #3 hits stores next Wednesday.

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
