LATE: Doomsday Clock #10 Slips Another Week, Joined By Shazam #5 and Batman #68

It is expected for the latest issue of Doomsday Clock, the unauthorised sequel to Watchmen by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank published by DC Comics, to be late. Almost every week, we run an article on it. Watch for Newsarama to run one tomorrow as well. You can set your clock by it.

So yes, Doomsday Clock #10 will be slipping a further week, originally intended to be out on the 27th of March, now a month late on 24th of April.

It’s also slightly common for Shazam #5 by Geoff Johns and Dale Eaglesham to also be late. It has slipped from the 17th April to the 24th. Just a week.

While Electric Warriors has has #6 slip from April 10th to the 17th, Mad Magazine from April 3rd to the 17th. All these titles have been late in recent months.

The unusual slippage is Batman #68, a comic that has followed a strict publication regime for years. And has Batman #68 merely slip from the 3rd of April to the 10th April. Just one week. But it is very unusual indeed…

BATMAN #68
(W) Tom King (A/CA) Amanda Conner
Batman is making his way to the end of his Knightmares, but his unseen enemy has a few more tricks up his sleeve. It’s time once again to stick a knife into the Caped Crusader’s broken heart, letting the groom-that-could-have-been peer in on the bachelorette (or should that be “Catchelorette”?) party that never was. Artist Amanda Conner (Harley Quinn) rejoins the Bat-family for this month’s special story-because who else you gonna invite to a shindig like this?In Shops: Apr 10, 2019 SRP: $3.99
