So you've got an old Dracula laying around and it's outlived its usefulness, but you never know if you're gonna need it again someday. What do you do? That's a question facing the Winter Guard in this preview from next week's Avengers #17. Dracula has come to Russia seeking Asylum after the War of the Vampires wiped out all his followers and drove him from his kingdom. All Drac wants is to live out the rest of his unlife in peace…

So what do you do with him? They could just stake him and be done with it, but you never know when a Dracula, even an old and used-up one, might become useful. So Ursa Major has a bright idea…

And where is that?

Okay, points for creativity. But did anyone stop to consider that a powerful vampire transformed by nuclear radiation could be something that ends up coming back to bite the Winter Guard in the butt? Or the neck, as the case may be?
