Xbox's Mike Ybarra Takes a Shot at Anthem's Loot System

Monday might be an interesting day today if BioWare has a conversation with Microsoft, and their VP seems to have taken a pop shot at Anthem. Last night on Twitter, Mike Ybarra had apparently been playing the game for ten hours after the new patch updates went in, taking him that long to get a Legendary drop in the game. He decided to share his find on Twitter, which has received more stories of frustrated fans not being able to get anything good in the game since the update, let alone amazing items.

Not normally any game with a loot-based system is going to get a fair share of angry players. Hell, I'm not a fan of every time there's an even in Overwatch, the complementary loot box is nothing but sprays and voice lines. But when you got one of the heads of a company you do business with essentially call out your system on Twitter for all to see… that's when you might want to take notice and fix some things. We'll see if BioWare responds to the open criticism or keeps on the path they are with Anthem.
