Captain Marvel Star Brie Larson is "Super Into" an All-Female Avengers Movie

Ever since it became apparent that there was more than one female superhero out there in the Marvel Cinematic Universe fans have been asking for a team-up movie. After Wonder Woman became a huge hit and Captain Marvel set to do extremely well this weekend [going by early ticket sales] the topic has come up yet again. Screen Rant did the Captain Marvel junket and asked star Brie Larson what she thought of the idea.

"I'm scared and I don't know what the future holds either. I'm not let into those top-secret meetings, so we'll see. We'll see what happens. I love all the female characters so much. So of course like that's what I'm interested in. I'm super into an all-female Avengers movie. Yeah, I think that would just be, it would just be cool to see all of them interact together."

While Larson did dodge the question as to which female heroes this movie could involve since things are so in flux with Avengers: Endgame, but it is still a neat idea. There is an all-female Avengers team in the comics called A-Force so it isn't that far out of the realm of possibility. The DC universe is doing Birds of Prey and Sony Animation is doing the Spider-Women team-up movie. It sounds like Marvel is going to come in last when it comes to this race.

Give me my A-Force movie you cowards!

Summary: Carol Danvers becomes one of the universe's most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races.

Captain Marvel, directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, will also star Brie Larson, Jude Law, Gemma Chan, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Samuel L. Jackson. The film is set for release on March 8th, 2019.
