'Titans': Conner Kent/Superboy Joshua Orpin Strikes a Pose, Has No Time for "Fakes"

Now that DC Universe's live-action Titans series has found its "Boy of Steel" in Joshua Orpin (The Blake Mysteries: Ghost Stories), the sophomore season's Conner Kent aka Superboy is taking to social media to put posers and fakes on notice. Or to paraphrase the great teachings of Digital Undergound prophet Greg "Shock G" Jacobs aka Humpty Hump: all the superboys in the top ten – please allow him to bump thee.

Extra points for those of you who post a comment with the title, number, and year of the comic book Orpin is wisely paying tribute to…

Orpin joins Titans stars Brenton Thwaites (Richard "Dick" Grayson / Robin), Anna Diop (Koriand'r / Kory Anders / Starfire), Teagan Croft (Rachel Roth / Raven), and Ryan Potter (Garfield "Gar" Logan / Beast Boy) in a key season 2 role.

Orpin's Conner Kent/Superboy is the angsty teenager of steel searching for purpose and the truth about his past. While looking for answers, he crashes into the world of the Titans where he finds an unlikely home and surrogate family as well as revelations that carry more complications than he ever bargained for.

Because you're not a real movie or television show if you don't have your own end-credit teasers, Titans fans who know you don't turn off an episode until the next one starts or you've run out of episodes were treated to a major game-changer at the very end of the season 1 finale (the trailer is below and the end credits scene further down):

Tell me if this sounds familiar: we're in a lab in Metropolis – or at least what used to be a lab. Now a scene of utter destruction and chaos – with alarms at full blast and bodies of doctors and scientists strewn everywhere – there appears to be only one survivor.

As the mysterious "man" makes his way through the lab, a tattoo on his shoulder is revealed:

Yup, that's right Young Justice fans: Superboy has entered the game – and he's not alone! So what's that he's looking for in that lab anyway? What any any scared, lonely kid would look for…their dog:
