Final Fantasy VII is Headed to Xbox One and Switch in Late March

A little bit of an update on Final Fantasy VII's modern port as it appears we'll be seeing the game on the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch in about a month. Today a couple of listings were updated for the game that caught people's attention, the first being on the Mircosoft Store which officially has the game listed as March 25th. The second being from Nintendo's New Zealand store which lists the game coming to the Switch on March 26th. Kind of interesting that we're getting two different release dates for the same game, but now we know they're both officially coming in four weeks time. Here's the description from Nintendo's site, which is brief but covers Final Fantasy VII about as well as you can in a paragraph for first-timer's

The world has fallen under the dominion of the Shinra Electric Power Company, a sinister corporation that has monopolized the planet's very life force as Mako energy. In the urban megalopolis of Midgar, an anti-Shinra rebel group calling themselves Avalanche have stepped up their campaign of resistance.

Cloud Strife, a former member of Shinra's elite SOLDIER unit now turned mercenary, lends his aid to the rebels, unaware that he will be drawn into an epic battle for the fate of the planet, while having to come to terms with his own lost past.
