Meet Harrison Ford as Rooster in This New the Secret Life of Pets 2 Trailer and Poster
Universal Pictures and Illumination continue to drip feed information on The Secret Life of Pets 2. The sequel, due to come out this year after being delayed following the allegations against Louis C.K, is a follow-up from the first movie which brought in $900 million dollars in the worldwide box office in 2016. Patton Oswalt has replaced C.K. in the lead role and it sounds like he's doing a great job.
We got a new character-centric teaser and poster today and this one focuses on Harrison Ford's character named Rooster. He seems like a stern old grump, so it's good to see that Ford is still getting typecast. This is also the first time we really got any indication about what the plot is going to be. It looks like Max and Duke are going in the car (YAY CAR) to go and visit a farm.
The car scene in particular shows why this movie hit as hard as it did with audiences. There is joy from the dogs about being in the car that anyone who has owned a dog can see. Good dogs.
The Secret Life of Pets 2, directed by Chris Renaud, stars Patton Oswalt, Eric Stonestreet, Kevin Hart, Jenny Slate, Tiffany Haddish, Lake Bell, Dana Carvey, and Albert Brooks. It will be released on June 7, 2019.
