Happy Death Day 2U, the low budget comedy horror sequel to the even lower budget comedy horror movie Happy Death Day written by Scott Lobdell, seems to have done well enough over the last week with a $26 million opening weekend.

Instead, it seems that Lobdell is launching a new film-and-comics franchise called Odin.

For everyone asking about my next project…I've written a graphic novel and feature script with my best friend John McLaughlin of Black Swan fame. ODIN is a revenge thriller in the vein of John Wick —if it was Wick who was murdered leaving the dog to seek vengeance against the killers!

Who's a good boy? Dog revenge thrillers – could this be a whole new genre? John Wick may be the best revenge movie over a dead dog – with others including In a Valley of Violence, Mad Max 1 and 2, Shooter, I Am Legend and Red (the other one). But the dog taking revenge? I think that's new…
