Adult Cyclops Rejoins the Champions for War of the Realms

You would think that Scott Summers would have a lot on his plate having just returned from the dead into a world where the X-Men have disappeared, forcing him to team up with Wolverine to rebuild the X-Men from the ground up. But back when Scott was a time-displaced teenager living alongside his adult counterpart in Marvel’s past, he founded a teen superhero team called the Champions before being sent back in time with his memory erased, only for his memory to come back to his resurrected adult self in the future moments after his teen self was sent back to the past.

And if all of that makes sense to you, then you’ll understand perfectly why Cyclops will be rejoining the Champions as an adult when War of the Realms rolls through the Marvel Universe in May, shaking things to their very foundations and whatnot. Marvel media partner Newsarama received a gift of an EX-X-XCLUSIVE solicit reveal from their feudal lord, Marvel Editor-in-Chief Akira Yoshida, spoiling the news.

Check it out below.

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
