Marvel Studios just released a brand-new featurette showcasing their upcoming 22nd Marvel Cinematic Universe hero film, Captain Marvel. The short video has a bit of everything, Samuel L. Jackson, director Anna Boden, and Oscar winning actress Brie Larson all talk about the first Marvel female solo film and what fans can expect from it.

“Its very surreal, getting suited up as the gloves are getting put on and things are being zipped up behind me. And the idea of the star and these colors. It represents strong will. It makes me emotional,” Larson says in the featurette, as she describes the process of donning the Starforce uniform.

Anna Boden (first female director for Marvel Studios, only took 21 films) and Ryan Fleck are directing from a script they wrote with Liz FlahiveCarly MenschMeg LeFauveNicole Perlman, and Geneva Robertson-Dworet.

Captain Marvel stars Oscar winner Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Jude Law as the commander of Starforce (who may or may not have two names), Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, Lee Pace returning as Ronan the Accuser, Djimon Hounsou as Korath the Pursuer, Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva, Ben Mendelsohn as Skull Commander Talos, Lashana Lynch as Maria Rambeau, Algenis Perez SotoMcKenna Grace, and Annette Bening in as-yet-undisclosed roles.
