BBC Filming 'The Thrifty Wear Comic Books' After Amber Rudd Pops By

Sheryl Hall of Thrifty Couture has been running workshops in Hampstead, England, this week, encouraging people to turn comic books into footwear. Taking old unused shoes, boots, sneakers and slippers, and using comic books to re-create them as comic book styled fashion.

And in the process, raising awareness of Awareness of Narcolepsy & Cataplexy in the UK. They had a visit first from the Mayor of Hastings, who had a good go, and then from their local MP and Secretary of State for Work & Pensions Amber Rudd, and today the BBC has turned up to film the event.
