How Cyclops Died in Age Of X-Man – White Bag Variants Tell a Secret History

Back in December, Bleeding Cool told you that Marvel Comics was to publish ‘secret’ white-bagged variant covers of their then-upcoming Age Of X-Man series of mini-series.

And would appear on Amazing Nightcrawler #1, Nextgen #1, Marvelous X-Men #1, X-Tremist #1, Apocalypse and the X-Tracts #1 and Prisoner X #1.

Well, as we reported on yesterday, Age Of X-Man: Marvelous X-Men #1 is out today.

And thanks to Alan Gill of Ultimate Comics in the USA, we know what’s inside that first white bagged cover…

It seems to be telling the Secret History behind the Age of X-Man, how all those X-Men died and what the Resolution was.

With Carlos Pacheco showing Cable, Cyclops, Wolverine and Hope dying at the hands of Stryfe. Colossus, of course, survives…

(W) Lonnie Nadler, Zac Thompson (A) Marco Failla (CA) Carlos Pacheco
The perfect heroes for a perfect world! The X-Men have helped make the world into a utopia where living in fear and hatred is a thing of the past. When danger threatens the world, the Marvelous X-Men set things right for the good of all. And no one dares say otherwise.
