In case you needed a proper introduction into the frozen Russian hellscape that is Metro Exodus, there’s a new animated short out that you might enjoy! Of all the content we’ve seen for the game so far, this is probably the most intense piece of footage you’ll get that gives you a sense of reality about what’s going on in the game, as well as a piece of the novels. Nothing creepier than having a vision of a kid with nesting dolls taking you back through horrible moments! Here’s a little more info about “Artyom’s Nightmare”.

A quarter century after nuclear war devastated the Earth, a few thousand survivors took refuge in the Moscow Metro. They believed they were the last remnants of humanity – but they were wrong. Only Artyom dared to dream of a life on the surface. But dreams can quickly turn to nightmares…
