PETA Loves Daniel Bryan's New Vegan WWE Championship Belt

Daniel Bryan is a vegan socialist doing his best to save the world and the WWE Universe from the evils of capitalism, carnivorism, and baby boomers. He's clearly a hero for the new generation, which makes us wonder just how the heck he's considered the "heel" in his feud with AJ Styles, a man who literally believes the Earth could be flat. But while Vince McMahon and WWE fans may not see the merits in Daniel Bryan's conscientious lifestyle, at least one organization sees him for the heroic figure he is: PETA. The Animal Rights organization posted an article praising Bryan for replacing the leather WWE Championship belt with one made out of hemp, unveiled on this week's episode of WWE Smackdown Live.

"We applaud the self-proclaimed 'amateur environmentalist' for spotlighting just how cruel and unnecessary it is to use intelligent, sensitive cows' skin to make a belt," PETA writes in their article. "His 'new symbol of excellence,' as he calls it, is changing the game for animals. The animal-friendly hemp material that the new belt is made from prevented cows, crocodiles, and other animals from being exploited and killed for their skin."
