Ladies and Gentlemen, The 2019 SAG AFTRA Awards Winners [Updating]

Tonight, the 25th Annual SAG (Screen Actors Guild) Awards are taking place, with host Megan Mullally. The 2019 SAG AFTRA event was televised by TBS, and we thought maybe you’d like to know who takes home the ACTOR statue as they get announced.

Obviously, the event doesn’t kick off til 5pm PST, but there was already an award given to Netflix series GLOW! (Scroll down to see which one!)

Also, learning about the history of the signature SAG AFTRA “I am an actor” opening is pretty cool, too.

We’ll be updating throughout the evening as the awards are given, so check back often.

AND- Alan Alda will be receiving the SAG AFTRA Lifetime Achievement Award, which will be presented by Tom Hanks.

His speech broke our hearts and lifted our spirits as only someone of Alda’s caliber can do:

“My wish for all of us is to stay playful, to have fun, to keep searching. It can’t solve everything, but it couldn’t hurt.”
