Mortal Kombat 11 Will Apparently Have Multiple Story Mode Endings

It sounds like the developers at NetherRealm Studios have expanded Mortal Kombat 11's story mode by including multiple endings in the game. The news is coming from people who noticed that Brian Tong, who got one of the few sit-down interviews with co-creator Ed Boon at the reveal event a couple weeks ago, loaded a video where he quickly revealed that the story mode for the game comes with the chance of seeing multiple endings depending on what decisions you make. Which would be an expansion from what they did with Injustice 2 where, spoiler free, things change depending on who you side with near the end of the game.

That puts a lot more interest and playability on Mortal Kombat 11, as people will probably play the game multiple times over to unlock all the endings and see what secrets it holds. Boon also revealed that there is a big character returning to the game that they haven't revealed yet. Immediately, our thoughts went toward Shang Tsung, because if you're going to time travel to a point where these characters are still alive or learning or are younger, you have to bring back one of the biggest bad guys in the franchise. Will we be right? We got a couple more months to find out as we wait for April 23rd to roll around.
