Bethesda Softworks Gets Cheeky With Ubisoft Over Latest Rage 2 Ad

It seems like the devs over at Bethesda Softworks decided to take a pop shot at Ubisoft this week with a new ad for their upcoming game Rage 2. Today, the marketing team decided to throw up a new poster on their Twitter account, showing off Rage 2 covered in pink with the sub-title "Newer Dawn" below it, making fun of the pink themes happening in Ubisoft's upcoming release of Far Cry New Dawn and the latest trailer that came out today.

Now we're all for companies sniping at each other in friendly ways, and since both games a running roughly the same kind of themes and mechanics, it makes this one just a little more heated than you normally see. But honestly, I think Bethesda should focus more on making sure Rage 2 is actually an awesome game, or maybe fixing all the problems with Fallout 76, before they start throwing shade at other people. On the flipside of this, if Ubisoft doesn't respond when they have such a wise target to take aim at… I'd call that a missed opportunity for marketing!
