The Division 2 Focuses on The Dark Zone and PvP in New Trailer

Ubisoft unveiled a new trailer today focusing on Tom Clancy's The Division 2 and its various PvP offerings.

One of the major end-game draws in the original Tom Clancy's The Division, was the Dark Zone. While the franchise may have moved to Washington, DC in the sequel, the Dark Zone is returning. In fact, we're getting three whole Dark Zone areas in The Division 2, which means you can get yourself some stupidly named epic loot and also take part in some light PvP in three different areas of the game map. The Dark Zone will continue to provide players with a combination of PvE and PvP content, as the zones are filled with AI enemies and 12 agents who can get tagged with one of three new Rogue Agent statuses, which will determine how heavily other players in the zone go after them.

PvP is also getting some major help through the two Conflict multiplayer modes, which are more traditional multiplayer modes set on new maps outside of the main story. Both conflict modes include their own progression system with rewards players can bring back to the main game. Domination is a capture-the-flag mode, while Skirmish is a more straightforward "kill the other team faster than they kill you" style PvP mode.

Tom Clancy's The Division 2 will release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store on March 15, 2019.
