Are Nintendo About to Launch an SNES Switch App for Online?

If you believe the latest rumors coming out of Twitter today, it looks like Nintendo is about to launch an SNES emulator on their Online service. Reddit and a couple other media outlets picked up on a pair of Twitter posts by dataminers who have apparently been breaking into their Nintendo Switch, claiming that they're seeing emulator programming for SNES titles. One claims that they've only seen a few, while another claims they're seeing an entire library of content that has yet to be released.

While neither have posted any photos of the coding or provided any kind of proof, they have turned over some reliable data in the past on previous games. If it is true, then it sounds like Nintendo could release an SNES library any day now on their online service. But until Nintendo actually comes forward and says something, there's no telling if or when this will come to fruition. But hey, let's be honest, it's probably going to happen someday anyway.
