Mad Catz Unveils New Gaming Surfaces for CES 2019

Mad Catz Global kicked off CES week by announcing a new line of professional gaming surfaces, as they've just shipped the new G.L.I.D.E. series. The professional gaming surfaces are designed to work with high-end gaming mice like the Mad Catz R.A.T. line. The G.L.I.D.E. surfaces come in four sizes and are intended to function during competitive play.

The surfaces are on the larger size, coming in four sizes from 16 to 38 inches (16", 19", 21", and 38").

The G.L.I.D.E. 19, 21, and 38 surfaces are constructed from high-density silicon and friction-free cloth, with all models folding up for easy transport. They'll work well with both optical and laser gaming mize. The 19, 21, and 38 inch models are also fully washable.

Mad Catz created the overlarge surfaces after consulting with various gaming pros to provide a perfectly balanced surface that ensures mice don't sink into the material during play. The silicon and friction-free cloth are also ideal for accuracy.

"Late last year we were delighted to announce the shipping of our new R.A.T. mice, the first new product line to ship from Mad Catz Global, and we're delighted to follow with our new range of G.L.I.D.E.Gaming Surfaces," said Selena Chang, Director of Sales and Operations for Mad Catz Global Limited, "We're committed to providing a full range of professional gaming equipment for PC gamers and we're confident that the G.L.I.D.E. will be received enthusiastically amongst the gaming community as we continue to expand our offering into 2019 and beyond."

You can find more information on the mouse pads on the Mad Catz site.
