Kevin Feige Provides an Update on Captain Marvel

Fans have been on the edge of their seats waiting for Captain Marvel since the movie was officially announced back in 2014. After a delay from July 2018 to March of 2019 the movie is almost here. We might be three months away from the release but that doesn't mean it's done yet. Kevin Feige attended the Golden Globes and spoke to MTV on the red carpet. He was asked for an update on the film and he shared that if he wasn't at the awards show he'd be working on the movie.

"Brie Larson is incredible and she's an amazing actor. We are still working on the cut; the effects are coming together, the music is coming together, the final mix. Were I not on this carpet talking to you right now I'd be in the cutting room and on the mix stage where the rest of the team is this second."

It's very good to hear that things are coming along nicely. DC beat them to the punch with Wonder Woman and everyone is going to be comparing the two movies. They shouldn't but they will be. Those of us that won't be judging Carol Danvers against Diana Prince are just hoping to see another badass woman on the big screen.

Summary: Carol Danvers becomes one of the universe's most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races.

Captain Marvel, directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, will also star Brie Larson, Jude Law, Gemma Chan, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Samuel L. Jackson. The film is set for release on March 8th, 2019.
