Bob Wayne, Keynote Speaker at ComicsPRO in Charlotte, North Carolina

Bob Wayne has the reputation of being a fine upstanding southern gentleman of the old school. Former SVP of DC Comics and current roving representative of the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund is to be the Keynote speaker at ComicsPRO Comic Industry Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina, next month.

Running from February 21st to the 23rd, Peter Dolan, ComicsPRO's President of the Board of Directors describes Bob thus;

"Besides his role as Senior Vice-President of Sales at DC Entertainment for many years, Bob is a life-long fan of comics, a published author, a business consultant specializing in the publishing industry, an advisor to the CBLDF, and a great friend to comic retailers. He's also been a comics and science fiction convention dealer and a retail store owner. He's done it all."

The ComicsPRO Comic Industry Conference brings together comic book retailers and publishers to discuss major industry issues and to develop improvements and directions for the comic book specialty market. All comic book retailers with storefront locations are encouraged to attend. Every attending retailer will receive a gift bag including graphic novels, toys, promotional items and comics. Publishers create exclusive comics for ComicsPRO, many with low print runs.

Retailer registration is open and Early Bird Registration is open through January 4th. We have a full listing of events below.
