Motor City Comic Con Doubles In Size for 2019

It's Motor City Comic Con of Michigan's 30th anniversary in 2019. And you know what happens to you when you hit your thirties, you start to become really ambitious and throw off all that self-doubt of the twenty-something wondering if it's okay to play with the rest of the grown-ups.

Because in 2019. the show is looking to almost double in size.

Running from Friday, May 17th to Sunday, May 19th at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan for the first time since construction was completed, Motor City Comic Con will utilize the Showplace's newly expanded 180,000 square feet of space on top of the existing 215,000 square feet.

This also means a small hike in some prices.. A 3 Day admission pass has jumped from $70 to $80 for adults, but the individual day tickets remain the same, $30 for Friday and Sunday, $40 for Saturday. A VIP Pass has jumped from $199 to $220.

Details are still scarce but Esad Ribic has been commissioned to create the cover to the 2019 programme guide. That's when he's not using the comic convention as a way to capture and torture David Mack, that is.

Tickets go on sale today. How handy.
