Mom Calls on WWE to Induct Chyna in Hall of Fame

It's been more than two years now since wrestling legend Chyna passed away, but despite WWE's major promotion of its women's division under the banner of the "Women's Evolution," a marketing campaign that praises WWE for finally treating its female performers with respect as a remedy to… decades of WWE treating its female performers with no respect, the company has yet to acknowledge the pioneering Chyna's contributions with a well-deserved Hall of Fame induction.

It's a topic that WWE Executive and former boyfriend of Chyna, current husband of Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, once called "difficult."

From a career standpoint, should she be in the Hall of Fame? Absolutely. It's a bit difficult, though, and this is the flipside of the coin — and this is the side nobody looks at — I've got an eight-year-old kid, and my eight-year-old kid sees Hall of Fame, and my eight-year-old kid goes on the Internet to look at Chyna. What comes up?

Yes, we certainly wouldn't want anything questionable to show up on google searches for talent associated with WWE…

Anyway, on Friday, Chyna's mother took to Facebook to honor her daughter's birthday and call on WWE, once again, to do the right thing.

As many of you know, yesterday would have been Joanie's (Chyna's) birthday. I truly appreciate all of the messages and rememberances of her that were posted by so many of you. As you can imagine, it's always a very sad day for me. But it helps a lot to know how many people remember her and loved her. It's one of the worst things in the world to lose a child. We HAVE to get her into the WWE hall of fame. She richly deserves to be there.

WWE – LISTEN UP and do what's right for Chyna!! You owe her that for what she did for you and women's wrestling. She earned her place there. And it's long overdue.
