Fantastic Four #5 Tops Comixology Bestseller List 28th December 2018

Looks like I'm not the only one that still has a Christmas hangover, as the entire comics books industry decided to release a grand total of 12 new issues this week. Seriously, Heavy Metal put out more comics than DC on this Boxing Day.

And I must say, what a sad way to end 2018. I wanted a huge Marvel vs. DC showdown to wrap up the year. While I'm confident the 61-page Fantastic Four #5 would've taken the top spot over Action Comics (based on recent history), I wished to see how well Superior Spider-Man and X-Force would debut under normal conditions. But at the end of the day, I can't complain if the industry wants to a take a vacation. We're all entitled to one.

And look, there's a massive sale from the Big 2 and Image to end the year. So I suggest you do what I do during my little winter stay-cay: kick back, relax, read some cheap digital comics, and then binge-watch Parks and Recreation while you have some leftover ham and eggnog.
