Jodie Whittaker's Hand Was in a Coldplay Video, And More From Christmas Day with Jo Wiley

Jodie Whittaker has just been on Jo Wiley's Christmas Day show on BBC Radio 2, sharing her favourite music, her love of Madonna and how the song Like A Virgin jumps up at the end of the first season of Derry Girls, and also got the cast of Doctor Who to dance to the song in Spain when they filming Demons Of The Punjab, and everyone dressed at her for her 36th birthday party when they were meant to dress as favourite pop stars – she dressed as Chesney Hawkes. She does like a dance.

She talked about her tiny Yorkshire family, and her massive married family and how Christmas can be 50 to 60 people or just 5. Her best Christmas present being the Sylvanian Family hedgehog treehouse and how there's a whole shop in the East of London for them now.

She talked about how she has only been to the Glastonbury Festival twice, 16 years apart, first when she was 15, and how now she's hoping that starring in Doctor Who will get her in as a VIP. Though her filming schedule doesn't acknowledge she has a social life

She talked about having a contended, unrebellious and untraumatic childhood, how her biggest trauma was committing to extreme hairdos and regretting them.

And she hopes that Peter Tong has heard about her love for him

She also talked about appearing in a Coldplay video. The director of the video Charlie Brown, Matt Whitecross put her in as an extra, she stood by the cymbal, for five hours, and apparently you can see her hand in the video….

Could it be this one?
