Last week, Bleeding Cool reported on the impending closure of the comic book store Comics Depot in Saratoga Springs, New York. It should have closed two days ago. Instead, yesterday customers read this, posted to Facebook,

We are thrilled to announce that we have experienced our very own Christmas miracle! Say hi to Jeff Watkins the new owner of the Comic Depot!

Jeff embodies all the philosophies of the Depot and we're confident he's the one to carry on!

The store will remain the same though it may change location. The announcement was videoed and posted below…

Watkins is the owner of Cloud City And Toys and Ice Cream Social, both of neighbouring Syracuse, New York.
