Bethesda Gives Away Fallout Classic Collection to All Fallout 76 Owners

It appears the Bethesda Softworks apology tour for Fallout 76 has reached a new point as the company is giving away free copies of another game to owners. As you may be aware, the fanbase of Fallout is basically starting to turn ugly against Bethesda for all the issues that keep cropping up about Fallout 76, and the company has been working hard to try and fix things and make them right with the fans. In the latest move, the company announced today that anyone who bought the game and logged in will be getting a free copy of Fallout Classic Collection as a free gift in January.

That's not too shabby of an apology note from the company, as there are probably a lot of people who would love to own that if they don't already. But to those who do or who are still mad over Fallout 76's final product, they'll probably view it as the company trying to buy their way out of the situation with another item that isn't what they wanted in the first place. Keep in mind, too, that while it applies to all owners, the game is for PC only. We'll see what the public reaction to it is down the line, but so far on social media, the reaction is genuinely mixed.
