Amazon Messes With Cyberpunk 2077 Fans With Fake Release Dates

Usually, whenever you see an Amazon release date get posted on accident, it’s sometimes very credible. Not so much with Cyberpunk 2077. A few different outlets, the primary one gathering all the info being Dual Shockers, saw that the game got two different release dates this week. One of them happening in the year 2030 and the other in 2099. Obviously, someone at Amazon decided to mess with fans of the game who have put down pre-orders of the game.

It’s kind of cute that someone at Amazon decided to mess with the ever-vigilant gaming community looking for any leaks all the time. Shortly after, all release dates were changed back to December 31st, 2019. CD Projekt Red has offered no comment on it, and the Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account has been quiet on the situation as well. We’re pretty sure we won’t see a release date for the game until E3 2019 at the earliest.
