The Latest Splatoon 2 Splatfest Ends in an Interesting Fashion

The latest Splatfest to take place in Splatoon 2 has a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate theme behind it, and it ended in an interesting fashion. The company basically set up a heroes vs. villains Splatfest, with a number of your Nintendo favorites on board for what seemed like an easy victory for the good guys. However, the community turned the whole thing on its head at the last minute and rallied behind the villains and took a 2-1 victory in the end. You can see the voting was clearly on the side of the heroes, as were the matches, until some last minute fighting swayed the competitions the other way. Because as we all learned in Space Balls, "evil will always triumph, because good is dumb."
