SEGA Ages Will Add Puyo Puyo and Puyo Puyo 2 on Nintendo Switch

Good news for Nintendo Switch owners of SEGA Ages, if you love Puyo Puyo, you're going to be getting a double helping down the road. Famitsu got word this week from SEGA during the Puyo Puyo December 2018 Championship that the company will be releasing the first two games of the series on the platform for Switch owners. Much like other games on SEGA Ages, it will be presented in its original form for you to play as if it never left your Genesis.

This is kind of awesome news, but we're suspecting it's setting people up for the eventual news that we'll be getting Puyo Puyo Esports sometime in 2019 as well, as the company will put a little bit of focus on the game ahead of time. But the company made no mention of it during the championships, so we're still waiting to see if they do anything with it in the near future.
