Zombie Sharks: Johannes Roberts Tackles ‘Resident Evil’ Reboot

Remember how the most recent Resident Evil film was STILL PLAYING IN THEATERS when word came down that it was getting a reboot? Yeah. That happened.

Turns out that Constantin Film just picked their writer/director to tackle the reboot, 47 Meters Down‘s Johannes Roberts.

According to Variety, “sources” say Roberts is the pick to helm the reboot, which will reportedly have an all-new cast.

We’ll let you know if this gets confirmed, as well as any additional information we hear about the Resident Evil film reboot.
