Doctor Strange Takes on Urban Renewal in Next Week’s Doctor Strange #9

Next week’s issue of Doctor Strange sees the titular Doctor take on a new foe: urban renewal! The Falston corporation wants to renovate Bleeker Street in this story set ten years in the past (wait, doesn’t Marvel time mean that this happened before the Fantastic Four got their powers??).

But Strange, it seems, isn’t having it…

And if they won’t take no for an answer…

We imagine this is probably not the end of this.

Hey, if Doctor Strange feels this way about a building, we wonder how he must feel about Marvel constantly “renewing” its entire universe with super-mega-crossover events and line-wide relaunches!

Doctor Strange #9 hits stores next Wednesday.

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
