Nintendo Will Stop Updates for Kirby Star Allies

Nintendo will no longer be updating Kirby Star Allies moving forward as the next free update from HAL Laboratory will be the last. The company made a new blog post this week, basically saying they were done with the game and were looking to move onto new projects. While the updates might not have been the most public of all that Nintendo was adding to games, they did add a little more fun and variety to a game that, with all due respect, was pretty easy to conquer the first time through and needed more content to pad it out.

As to what HAL is moving onto, they didn't really say. While they've had their hand in a couple other series over the past few decades, they are primarily known for the Kirby series. So unless this is a sign that there's a new Kirby game being planned as we speak, it's really anyone's guess as to what's on the horizon.
