Today's long-awaited Heroes In Crisis #3 continues the DC Comics slaughterfest. We've had confirmed kills on Wally West, The Flash and Roy Harper, Arsenal, as well as Bluejay, Lagoon Boy, Commander Steel and Hotspot.

And as the issue goes back over the days that led up to the slaughter, that number gets upped.

One get out clause, that all of this could actually be happening in the extended Danger Room/Holosuite of Sanctuary would be squashed by the spinoff issues into Green Arrow, Titans and the like…

One thing this issue does highlight, is that the perceptions of those in the Sanctuary could have been severely warped by the reality presented to its residents by the machine. Who knew what they were doing – and why? And just what got triggered in the process?
