Let's Take a Look at McFarlane Toys Fortnite Cuddle Team Leader Figure

Fortnite holds zero appeal for me as a video game. Sorry to those that enjoy it, I am glad that you do. I found the game incredibly boring and unfun. What I do however enjoy about it are the character designs. Some of them are quite inventive, and figures and other such things were inevitably going to be coming out, and it seems like a natural fit to have McFarlane Toys be making them. We got our hands on the Cuddle Team Leader figure, and we thought we would take a look at it.

First, the packaging. I like the square box instead of a blister card. You can space out the accessories more, it makes it stand out on the shelf in the store or in your collection more, and has a bigger window box. All-around good stuff.

Once you get the figure out of the box, the quality of these stands right out. Articulation-wise, these are some of the best figures the company has ever done. The Fortnite Cuddle Team Leader comes with four accessories: a rifle, her back bow, a Fortnite plastic stand, and the Rainbow Unicorn. All of them are easy for her to hold, and the joints are not too tight, and not too loose, but perfect. Different types of poses are easier to achieve than ever because of the added articulation in the toes.

And this design! I don't know what it is about it, maybe it is the colors, or the really well-done job they did sculpting the fur, but I could not stop looking at this figure. My one real knock on this figure is the bow. The peg is about four sizes too big to fit into the tiny hole on the back of the figure. Not even close. Your mileage may vary on that one, but I was not too thrilled. Other than that, they absolutely nailed everything else.

If all the Fortnite figures from McFarlane Toys are of this high quality, this could be one of the better lines on the market for a long time to come. If you would like to order one for yourself and find out, click here.
