Outlander season 4 is well underway on STARZ; new country, new perils for our Fraser Clan, and new challenges for the creative team behind the series.

Creating "Common Ground" in 'Outlander' s4e4 [SPOILERS]

In this installment of STARZ-gives-us-some-insight, Outlander executive producers Maril Davis and Matthew B. Roberts go in depth about the process of creating the "Common Ground" needed for the episode.

And, confirmation that the ADORABLE Frenchie in the episode is none other than Davis' doggie, Carrot.

What do you think about season 4 so far?

Personally, as a book reader and appreciator of the series, the changes thus far in season 4 have been far less jarring and make more sense in the available-to-television narrative.

Next week's episode is titled "Savages", and our available synopsis reads:

Claire's medical expertise proves invaluable for a family of German settlers, but she begins to fear for her life when tragedy strikes her patients' household. Jamie and Young Ian travel to a nearby town to recruit settlers for Fraser's Ridge, but find their progress hindered by a burgeoning political movement.

Outlander airs on STARZ on Sundays.
