Dataminers Discover Fortnite Will Be Getting a Snowstorm Soon

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… Every game with an online service appears to be preparing for a holiday event, and Fortnite is no exception. According to the latest datamine on Twitter, it appears that there is a plan coming up in the days ahead to release a new update that will add snow to the map. This apparently includes everything from sloshy snow on the tops of trees all the way to hearing footsteps crunch the snow as you walk.

It doesn’t really come as any surprise that this would be planned for Fortnite. Hell, we’d be surprised if Epic Games didn’t do everything in their power to throw a holiday event and get whatever gamers and money they could during one of the busiest times for online games. Since this is leaked info, we have no confirmed date as to when it will be added. But seeing as how we just finished with Black Friday, we can’t imagine not seeing something added before the end of November.
