Over in Infinity Wars #5, Loki has discovered the source of the Infinity Gems Stones, mined by Dark Celestials in the Quarry Of The Gods and spread through the multiverse, a set that can work in each reality.

In today’s Avengers #700/10, that meeting is followed up on….

..and followed by the arrival of Wolverine. Somehow.

And the revelation that the Wolverine we have been reading about in these books, from Marvel Legacy #1 onwards may not be the one that burst out of his adamantium shell at all.

But is actually the Wolverine Phoenix from the far, far future

come to this timeline in the Thor books to kick stuff about. Starbrands. Punisher, Man Thing Thor, Hyperion with a broken Cap shield, Moon Knight and the undead, Namor and his sharks, Ursa Major, Malekith, the Hand and more… and a lot of Old Man Wolverine Phoenix to add.

And preparing for what is to follow Infinity Wars, Wolverine: Infinity Watch, in February.

Looks like the Wolverine Phoenix is about to get even more powerful.
